I’m Nick, a product designer with over a decade of experience designing and leading digital products across agencies, startups, and in-house teams.
I work on complex systems: multi-brand platforms, internal tools at scale, and products that need to stay coherent as teams, features, and constraints grow.
What’s kept me here isn’t tools or trends. It’s the challenge of making products clearer, more resilient, and easier to build and maintain through close collaboration with engineering and leadership.
My focus is on durable UI, design systems, and decision-making that holds up over time, not just at launch.

Product Design Lead

Most recently I designed and directed Orbital, Armstrong’s internal operations platform, covering payments, data, localisation, CMS, and automation for high-volume, multi-market operations. I built a token-driven system in direct partnership with engineering, embedding design decisions into production to create a solid, scalable UI foundation across current and future applications of the tool.
Alongside Orbital, I defined and governed UI and brand systems for 5+ Armstrong products, alongside the Marketing and Ops teams. I established a shared design language and component system that enabled fast delivery while maintaining clear brand separation.

I joined at an early stage and guided the product and brand through rapid growth from 10 to 100+ employees. I rebuilt the trading platform end-to-end across web and mobile, modernising the UI/UX for a global user base.
I shipped new product surfaces including multi-account onboarding, crypto wallets, affiliate tooling, dashboards, and market discovery features.
In parallel, I built and scaled the design system and visual language, driving multiple rebrands to establish consistent UI, interaction patterns, and a coherent product and brand presence across all surfaces.
